Events, happenings and achievements - Aptech has been witnessing a very busy time, as usual. The entire country was abuzz with activities.
Arena opened up a new centre in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. The centres at various locations organized events. Several centres held book fairs, Techwize workshops, and Seminars, with students contributing enthusiastically. A counselors' workshop was held in UP to prepare them for the season. The team in North even went to Pauri Garhwal to educate the students on Career options.
Equally busy was East with Aptech Job Fair at Kolkata offering suitable career opportunities to aspirants. The centre at Chowringhee Lane was launched with a lot of fanfare. However eventful it may be, Aptech remained committed to its corporate social responsibility endeavour. Both in the North as well as in the East, Aptech carried on its community service through communication & personality development workshops for the underprivileged children in association with Hope Foundation, Hope Kolkata Foundation and Udayan respectively.
Aptech opened doors for young professionals through its ‘SSi JQ Face to Face’ in South, wherein students, the placement officers and industry experts were offered a common platform to interact. Bringing good news to the students, Aptech in association with Indian Bank announced Educational Loans in Chennai. The Cath Road centre organized the high energy BLAST ‘07 that saw the famous star and ex parliament member Mr. Sarath Kumar gracing the occasion. The evening was marked by several events that saw huge participation from the Aptechites. Bangalore was a hub of activity with Brigade Road ACE centre getting launched, followed by a cultural eve at a happening mall. Arena Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad celebrated its 9th Anniversary. N Power Seminars held at Cochin, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai, drew huge crowds.
Cochin organized a hugely successful Job fair, which saw a wholehearted student presence & a supportive industry. Subhyayatra’07, an Aptech motorbike rally encouraging safe driving, received a lot of attention.
Aptech celebrated India’s 60th year of Independence by giving the country the most valuable gift – the gift of Life. Aptech organised a voluntary blood donation and free medical check-up camp at Arena Animation, Tilak Road branch in Pune. Arena Andheri (East) celebrated Independence Day with lot of fervor. As a prelude to the Independence Day, Shraddha Pimputkar and Nikhil Saini, both Arena Andheri (West) students brought in a lot of glory to the institute by winning the TASI ADLABS Design contest. Students at Sayajigunj got a flavor of the industry when they visited Sandesh and Rishabh Infotech. Baroda saw huge crowds at the Perspectives seminar.
It was fun time for Aptech Korba students going on picnic and also celebrating Kite Day, commemorating freedom. Spirit of freedom was also celebrated whole - heartedly at Aptech HO, Mumbai.
