Chandigarh, July 16, 2012: Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), one of the leading 3D Animation & Visual Effects (VFX) training institutes successfully concluded Parivartan, an educational seminar on animation and VFX organized last week in Chandigarh.
The seminar was organized with a view to educate the students about the upcoming and recent trends in the world of animation. Close to 150 students attended the seminar and gained valuable inputs on the animation industry. In a session conducted on student development, Mr. Sameer Sanischar, Associate Director Academics, MAAC guided the aspirants towards enhancing their creative skills, gaining knowledge about the advanced technologies in this field and so on. He also highlighted the fact about remaking of 2D films in 3D and how the application of animation is gaining momentum in every creative arena.
Another highlight of the event was the launch of the 3D movie by MAAC, ‘Super Heroes, an upcoming 3d film created by MAAC Creative Studios (MCS) by Mr. Sanjiv Waeerkar, Chief Creative Officer, MAAC. Super Heroes was screened at the seminar clearly showcasing the skills and talent of the creative team. He also addressed the students about the advanced technology and creativity used in Hollywood and Bollywood 3D movies, demand for creative artists in India and the world over, a plethora of employment opportunities offered by animation industry today, etc.
