“Aptech Limited announces Year 2007 standalone results”

For the year ending 2007, Aptech Limited, the Global Learning Solutions Company, posted impressive System-wide revenues of 390.64 crores, registering a growth of 62% over the previous year on a standalone basis. The PAT stood at 2.46 crores.
The standalone audited financial results were taken on record at a Board Meeting held in Mumbai. The Board noted that since the statutory audit of the financial results of Aptech’s Joint Venture Company in China is in progress, the consolidated results of the group will be published by April end.
Commenting on Aptech’s performance, Mr. Pramod Khera, CEO & MD – Aptech Ltd. said “We had declared the year 2007 as a year of growth. We kept up with our resolve on all fronts – revenues, booking, number of centres, geographies, number of students et al. With the year 2008 marked as the year of sustained profitable growth, we are looking forward to bettering our growth on all fronts”.
Highlights 2007 :
- New Brand – N Power launched in the second half of 2007 to address the market for Certified Hardware & Networking programs. The first 6 months sees 30 new centres.
- Strategic Alliance - AICAR. Aptech and AICAR join hands to offer premium post-graduate academic qualifications in Aviation Management, Animation & Banking
- International Expansion – 18 new Aptech Computer Education Centres, 9 new Arena Animation centres and the maiden N Power centre launched abroad. ACE enters Jordan & Syria. Arena enters Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Syria & Jordan. Vietnam gets its first N Power Centre.
- Domestic – Aptech Computer Education & Arena Animation added 15 new centres each across India. Whilst ACE bookings grew at 40%, Arena bookings grew at 70%.
- Arena in conjunction with CNBC 18 announced the Golden Cursor Animation Awards.
- The mega successful seminars by Arena viz. PERSPECTIVES continued their journey across India with noted Indian & International speakers like Chris Webster.
- Training Solutions business added marquee clients during 2007.
