Speaking during his visit to Vietnam to celebrate Aptech’s 10th anniversary in the country, Ninad Karpe, CEO & MD, Aptech, said, “Vietnam is one of the most important emerging IT markets in Asia. The country's IT sector has grown more than 20 percent annually. This country has a wealth of talent, and Aptech is committed to scale up its offerings to foster talent in Vietnam for the global IT industry.

Aptech’s flagship ACCP program is among the most popular IT training programs in Vietnam. Aptech has localized its course curriculum by translating it into Vietnamese.

Aptech has been rated the No. 1 IT Training organization in Vietnam for six consecutive years (2003-2008), by IDG and Ho Chi Minh Computer Association. “Aptech will look forward to partnering with leading colleges and universities in Vietnam to reach to a larger number of students and help them gain IT skills,” Mr. Karpe added.

Vietnam recently unveiled a US $8 billion government stimulus package, most of which is targeted at infrastructure and development projects. Vietnam is considered to be a strategic partner for India due to its cultural similarities. Its software industry has consistently had high growth rate of around 30-40% per year, accounting for 0.4% of the country’s GDP. Vietnam has over 720 companies and trains nearly 9,000 IT engineers at colleges and universities each year. A lot of Vietnamese have been devoting themselves to software engineering due to the bright prospects and the huge software market in the country.
