     Arena Multimedia organizes Digital Art Exhibition – FX 2006 in Kolkata
Mumbai, February 25, 2006: Kolkata Arena Multimedia, Asia’s leading multimedia training institute, is organizing Digital Art Exhibition - FX 2006, in Kolkata on February 25 - 26, 2006 at Indian Museum, Ashutosh Birth Centenary Hall. The exhibition has an exclusive display of Digital Art work of over 100 Arena students. The Chief Guest for the event is the distinguished painter Mr. Samir Aich.

FX 2006 is being judged by an eminent panel which includes Mr. Parag Roy, a reader in graphic department in Rabindra Bharati University and the recipient of the National level award AIFACS and the prestigious Lalit Kala Award; Reena Lath, a noted art collector & Mr. Arthur Cardozo, a renowned advertising professional, cartoonist, satirist and script writer for Ad. films and plays. Mr. Cardozo has worked with several International brands and has over 5000 published works to his credit.

Speaking on the inauguration of the exhibition, Manish Srivastava, Regional Head, East, Arena Multimedia said, “After the tremendous success of the event for the last three years, where Arena students had the opportunity to interact with industry experts, Arena Multimedia is organizing FX 2006. FX 2006 is featuring works of Digital Art, which will go a long way in creating an awareness of Multimedia through Digital Art. This exhibition provides platform to our students to showcase the talent & efforts and enables them to gain an expert’s perspective on their work, besides providing the much-needed fillip to gain a foothold in this competitive industry.”

The Center Head of Arena Chowringee Center, Mr. A.D. Singh said, “Arena students have done exceedingly well and we are delighted to showcase their works to the erudite people of Kolkata, a city that prides itself on its high awareness of arts. A part of the sale proceeds would go to South Calcutta Ananda Niketan Home, a School for mentally challenged. I extend an invitation to everyone in Kolkata to visit FX 2006, which will provide encouragement to our students who have ventured on this path.
