Hyderabad, November 30, 2006– Aptech Limited, the global learning solutions company, signed an MoU with the Information Technology Institute (ITI) - Cairo, the high end technical training arm of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of Egypt. The objective of the tie up is to foster a long-term friendship and co-operation, which will enable Aptech and ITI to collectively penetrate strategic markets surrounding Egypt. To begin with, Aptech will host e-learning courses and impart e-learning training to ITI.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Pramod Khera, CEO & MD, Aptech Ltd. & Dr. Mohamed Salem, Chairman, ITI at a glittering ceremony held at Hyderabad in the presence of HE Dr. Tarek Kamel - Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of Egypt. Other Dignitaries who graced the occasion were HE Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, Ambassador of Egypt in India, Eng Mohamed Omran, CEO, ITIDA, Dr. Ahmed El Sherbini, Director, NIT, Dr. Khaled Ismail - Senior Advisor, MCIT and the Heads of various Egyptian Organizations accompanying the high level delegation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pramod Khera, CEO & Managing Director, Aptech Limited said, “We are delighted to be a part of the Egyptian government’s vision to transform Egypt into a regional information and communications hub.
