Notes :

1 ) The above unaudited results were taken on record at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on 30.10.04.

'2 ) The previous period figures are regrouped / recast/adjusted to conform to the current quarter figures.

'3 ) The results of the quarter under review are not strictly comparable to the corresponding quarter last year since Learning Services which was a division of the Company in September 2003 registering then an income of Rs 526.22 lacs for that quarter, which is now a wholy owned subsidary.

4 )Other Income includes Rs 492.52 lakhs interim dividend declared by China Joint Venture

5) Information on Investor complaints pursuant to Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement for the quarter ended 30.09.04

Note:
1) The Company has identified Business Segments as the primary segment. Segments have been identified taking into account the nature of services, the differing risks & returns, the organizational structure & the internal reporting system.

2) Fixed assets are not indentified segment wise as these are used interchangebaly between segments. The management belives that meaningful segregation of Assets & Liabilities on segment basis is currently not praticable.
