Aptech Ltd announces 25% dividend

Mumbai, May 31, 2011 - Aptech Ltd., the global career education and training company, has announced its operating results for the fourth quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2011.


Annual Results

  • 25% dividend
  • Operating income for the year was `1,907.50 million as against ``1,576.43 million in the previous financial year, representing a growth of 21.0%
  • EBITDA for the year was `569.67 million, growth of 155.0% over previous financial year
  • Profit Before Tax was `434.43 million, representing a growth of 548.1%
    vis-à-vis previous year
  • Recorded PAT of `449.79 million in comparison with a loss of `223.51 million in FY2010

Commenting on the results, Mr. Ninad Karpe, Managing Director & CEO, Aptech Limited said, “In the recent years, the demand for career education and specialized courses has been steadily on the rise due to the growing emphasis on professional and skill-based knowledge. Our performance this quarter has been positive and this is evident from our result which was announced yesterday. The year gone by has seen us consolidate our position as a global education & training services company having reached over 40 countries with over 1300 centres till now.


The Board has recommended a dividend of 25% on the face value of the equity shares.
