Aptech Limited appoints CEO

At the Board meeting held on 31st January 2009, it has been decided to induct Mr. Ninad Karpe as the new CEO for the Aptech Group in order to strengthen the management bandwidth in the face of growing opportunities in the education business.

Mr. Ninad Karpe would spearhead the operations while the strategic focus of the Company would be continued to be handled by the Managing Director, Mr. Pramod Khera.

Ninad Karpe comes with over 24 years of experience in IT and other industries. Ninad Karpe has been the Managing Director, CA (formerly known as Computer Associates) for India & SAARC Region for the past six years. Ninad has been associated with CA India since the company’s inception in the country in 1997. He has held numerous management responsibilities in CA India that included guiding CA’s entry strategy in India, managing Marketing, Sales, PR, technical services, HR, operations and finance.

Prior to CA, Ninad was a consulting specialist for companies seeking to invest in India. These involved comprehensive studies related to the post–liberalization scenario, assessment of the market conditions and effective entry strategies for India.

Mr. Ninad Karpe is also a Director on the Board of other Companies viz., Savita Chemicals Ltd., Fortis Investment Management (India) Pvt. Ltd., and India SME Asset Reconstruction Co. Ltd.

Mr. Ninad Karpe is an existing Non- Executive Director on the Aptech Board who has been associated with Aptech for over 2 years. As the CEO, he will be able to bring his vast experience in the IT industry and help Aptech achieve its vision of becoming a global Learning Organisation.
